Hold Out , 2008 is a mixed media art installation. The installation is part of Mogility, a show curated by Barry Markowitz and Denise Seider at Side Street Projects in Pasadena, California. Hold Out is constructed of painted branches formed into circular shapes that suggest motion and stunted growth. These shapes are surrounded by a large leaf-shaped moat of dried and cracked adobe. Sunk into the moat is a circular "bowl" of white salt. 10'x20'x15'
